A very enjoyable spanking for Malcolm Gladwell. (I mean, for us to enjoy. I doubt Malcolm Gladwell enjoys it much).

Sherlock Holmes
Surprisingly enjoyed this movie. I was initially hesitant because I could tell they were basically turning Sherlock Holmes into a superhero type character (he does prizefighting for fun?) and the reviews were pretty mixed. After about half an hour I had forgotten most of my complaints and just started enjoying the movie on its own terms. I found myself thinking things like, “Well, Disney...

Watch This: 70-Minute Video Review of Star Wars:... →
Wow, I haven’t watched all 70 minutes yet, but this is fantastic. Not only is the guy very entertaining, but he’s actually got good, deep criticism that pinpoints what’s wrong with the movie. And it’s not just “Jar-Jar Binks,” like everyone wanted to convince themselves.
